President Muhammadu Buhari has postponed his visit to Zamfara State.
Zamfara State governor, Bello Mattawale, said the development was occasioned by poor weather conditions that affected his flight to the State.
Matawalle said a new date for the President’s visit to the state would be announced later.
QUESTNEWS had reported that the President was scheduled to visit Zamfara state this Thursday on a condolence visit over the recent killings in Anka and Bukkuyum local government areas of the State.
President Buhari had earlier on Thursday visited Sokoto state, where he inaugurated a new 3 million metric tonnes per annum BUA Cement Sokoto Line 4 Factory.
He was expected to leave Sokoto to Zamfara state but flew back to Abuja.
