Don’t Sabotage Our Effort To Finish Strong- Okowa Warns Road Contractors

ASABA- Delta State Government yesterday warned contractors to deviate from actions that will malign infrastructural development in the state.

Speaking yesterday in Asaba during a meeting with the contractors since their appointment in July 2021, Commissioner of Works, Urban and Highway Roads, Mr. Noel Omodon stressed the need to create synergy with the contractors to ensure effective service delivery to Deltans.

He noted that the is more critical to the earlier phase, saying that the Okowa led administration has an agenda to finish strong in all sectors of development.

He emphasized that the administration if the Incumbent Governor does not intend to abandon any projects.

Likewise, Commissioner for Works, Rural and Riverine Roads, Hon Solomon Golley appreciated the contractors for complying with the standards set by the state government.

He further expressed displeasure over contractors who failed to show up for the meeting.

“I would like to start going to the field soon, it would not be good if I do not know the contractor to that is in charge of a particular Project” he asserted
