TWO FULANI LEADERS IN OYO STATE HAVE APOLOGISED FOR THE CRIMES COMMITTED BY SOME HERDSMEN IN IBARAPA AREA.

THE APOLOGY WAS TENDERED BY THE SERIKI FULANI OF IGBO ORA, ALHAJI IDRIS ABUBAKAR, AND THE SERIKI FULANI OF ERUWA, ALHAJI SULE MOHAMMED.

THE TWO LEADER ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS FROM THOSE OFFENDED, ADDING THAT THEY ARE READY TO FACILITATE A PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE IN IBARAPALAND.

THEY SPOKE DURING A TOWN HALL MEETING, ATTENDED BY THE NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER, NGOZI ONADEKO AND A GOVERNMENT DELEGATION LED BY FATAI OWOSENI, A RETIRED POLICE COMMISSIONER, WHO IS GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE’S SPECIAL ADVISER ON SECURITY.
