IAEA heads for Ukraine nuclear plant as fears of disaster grow

Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency are on their way to Ukraine’s occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

IAEA head Rafael Grossi says the team will visit the plant later this week. Russia and Ukraine accuse each other of artillery strikes near the site. The attacks are fueling fears of a catastrophic radiation leak.

Officials say radiation levels are still normal but people living in the area are preparing for the worst.
