Actress Rachel Oniga dies at age 64 from heart related issues, an ailment she battled with before her demise.
The death of the veteran actress was made known by her family in statement released.
The family of the veteran actress describes her death as “God design” and “function of a race of life well finished”.
They call for privacy as they mourn her death, noting that burial arrangement will be announced soon.
Oniga was a popular actress in both the English and Yoruba language film industry. Launching her acting career in 1993, she grew to become a household name in the industry, starring in Wale Adenuga’s popular TV series ‘Super Story’ as well as films like ‘Onome’, and ‘Chief Daddy’.
