Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has officially returned to the National Assembly following the expiration of her six-month suspension.

She arrived at the Assembly complex at 1:10 pm, where she was warmly received by her supporters at the car park beside the arcade. From there, she proceeded to her office and addressed both newsmen and well-wishers.

In her remarks, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan vowed she would not apologise to the Senate as a condition for her return, stressing that such an apology would mean conceding to what she described as injustice.

She was suspended on March 6, 2025, after a heated dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
